They're people like you and me - ordinary constituents who take the time to come to Washington and talk about what's important to us. By telling our individual stories, we put issues in perspective for our legislators and bring them home in a way nobody else can.

It's one of the most powerful things you can do to make a difference. And in all the years I've been coming to SAF Congressional Action Days, it's never been more important than it is right now.

It's not just that there are new faces in Congress and the White House... there's a whole new energy in Washington and a need to get things done.

Things are going to change-and we must make sure our voice is heard!

When we speak together with one voice, on one day on Capitol Hill, our industry's concerns reverberate throughout Congress.
